Online Tuition

Online learning: A Specialist Tutor at your fingertips

Cardiff & Vale Tutors offers a Live Online Tutoring service. Unlike many tutoring agencies, we have personally vetted all of our tutors. We are a small agency and ensure personally that all of our tutors have a up to date criminal records check and hold a clean DBS.

Here in Cardiff we can offer  Maths Tutors, English Tutors and many other Curriculum Subjects. The online service is available for those seeking tuition in Cardiff, Wales or beyond. It is a really useful service as it connects students or adult learners to a specialist tutor.

How does it work?

With Cardiff & Vale Tutor’s bespoke online tuition service, a tutor and student, who are not in the same location can use the Internet to teach and learn remotely. Unlike online tutoring as advertised on public directories such as Gumtree, at Cardiff & Vale tutors we have our own dedicated educational software that is cloud-based. This enables us to check the quality of tutoring by accessing the sessions remotely. The tutor communicates in real-time with the student using the video software enabling tutors and students to view one another and share documents over the interactive whiteboard. They can download documents such as Power Points, and students can save session summaries to their laptops, or PCs, for future reference and revision. Because we use our own software, you do not have to install Skype so this reduces the costs.

These sessions can also work well with neurodiverse students who do not like too much change and can access the learning in their own environment.

If you would like to try our online tuition, please complete the ‘Find a Tutor’ form and tick the online tuition box.

We offer a free 20 minute taster session for this service so you can see and hear the benefits fully.
