Cardiff & Vale Tutors helps by providing  affordable and accessible quality tuition in Cardiff and South Wales. We provide tutors to all areas of  Cardiff, Barry, Wenvoe, Penarth, Sully, Cowbridge and Rhondda Cynon Taf. We cover Newport, Bristol and all of the UK using our online tuition service.  Our vision is to enable every child and adult to fulfil their potential in GCSEs and A levels. We also offer Level 1 and Level 2 Functional Skills.

We offer tuition for WJEC and AQA exams. We offer online tuition in IGCSEs, IB to international students with exam tuition for Edexcel/Pearson, Eduqas and AQA exam boards.

All our tutors have been through a fourfold quality check comprising an Enhanced DBS check, proof of qualifications, a professional references check and an extensive interview. Our interview process works to ensure excellent lesson planning skills and teaching ability. All tutors have a clear police check.

Whilst a personal interview of this depth is currently not required by most other tuition agencies, we insist upon this as a core requirement for all our tutors, and all of them have been carefully selected for their communication skills and expertise in their subject field.

Our tutors are comprised of a mix of teachers, postgraduates and undergraduates who have significant teaching experience through programmes such as  The Classroom Experience Project  and outreach tuition work run by Cardiff University.  The vast majority therefore are, or have been, working in Cardiff & the Vale of Glamorgan schools carrying out one-to-one tuition. They therefore have excellent relationships with teachers and schools throughout Cardiff & the Vale of Glamorgan.

All of our tutors have been carefully selected for their tutoring abilities and expertise in their subject field. Our tutors can help pinpoint which specific style of learning will help each individual student to succeed, and can offer support with exam techniques, revision skills and general essay support, from Primary to Graduate level. Our tutors can also offer online learning using our bespoke virtual classroom, with the same quality of tuition as a face to face lesson.

We offer Welsh workplace sessions, using qualified Welsh speaking teachers. These sessions can be arranged during workplace lunchtimes. We offer the services of  an experienced Access Arrangement Assessor. Exams can be daunting, but the right access arrangements can make a world of difference. Access arrangements are special provisions made for students who need additional support during exams due to disabilities, learning difficulties, or temporary conditions. We offer Functional Skills Level 1 and 2 with online exams for English and Maths.
