Please note that tutors working with Cardiff & Vale Tutors operate on a self-employed basis.
This means:
Before applying, please ensure that you are eligible to work on a self-employed basis in the UK and that you have no restrictions preventing you from undertaking self-employed work.
DBS Requirements
All tutors must hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate before they can begin tutoring.
If you do not currently have one, Cardiff & Vale Tutors can arrange a DBS check through Checks Direct.
We strongly recommend that tutors join the DBS Update Service, which will reduce costs in the long term.

In-Person Tutors – Cardiff & the Vale of Glamorgan
We have immediate vacancies for in-person tutors in all subjects across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Most of our clients currently request face-to-face tuition, so we are particularly interested in tutors who can travel within this area.
ONLINE A LEVEL ECONOMICS TUTOR
We currently have a vacancy for a A level Economics Tutor working with AS and A2 students

MATHS TUTOR – CARDIFF
We currently have a vacancy at a small private school in Cardiff. Average class size below 10:
IN-PERSON TUTORS – NEWPORT
WELSH-SPEAKING TUTORS
We are very keen to recruit fluent Welsh-speaking tutors who can provide both in-person and online tuition.
