***We have immediate vacancies for In Person Tutors in all subjects. Our tuition is based in Cardiff & the Vale of Glamorgan.

We accept tutors who are trained teachers,  postgraduates and undergraduates who have significant teaching experience. 

JOIN US– We are looking for in person GCSE English & Maths Tutors (March to July 2025) to put in place small group GCSE Maths and English tuition at a local Vale School.

We are particularly looking for GCSE and AS and A2 ENGLISH, MATHS, SCIENCE and WELSH MEDIUM Tutors. Immediate start.

We are in need of Welsh medium Maths and Science tutors and have immediate vacancies.

Ideally we are looking for tutors who can provide in person  tuition in the Cardiff & the Vale area, as this is what our clients and parents are requesting.

We are also looking for Primary, KS1 and  online  Y6 /KS2 tutors for English and Maths Tuition, starting this April 2025.  There is  daytime and after school tuition work. ***

We are looking for tutors who have BESD training and ALN experience for our tuition provision during the day, providing support for  Local Authority & Virtual Schools.

You can be flexible with your working hours. Please note you will not be an employee of Cardiff & Vale Tutors or the client as you will be self employed.

Once you have submitted the form,  you will receive a email confirming you have submitted the form. Next send scanned copies of your most recent qualifications and if possible, a scan of your Enhanced DBS by email to [email protected]

Please note that all tutors will need to provide a valid Enhanced DBS certificate before being able to tutor. Cardiff & Vale Tutors can provide successful applicants access to the DBS Check Service through the Checks Direct agency who carry out the criminal checks. The cost is about £45.50, and it is possible to make this certificate portable for use with other tutoring or teaching posts.

We recommend that all  tutors join the Update Service, as this reduces costs in the long term.
