7-Year Tuition Relationship with Cardiff & Vale

We are at the end of a 7-year tuition relationship with Cardiff & Vale.  Our son is now 16 and he has completed his GCSE’s, achieving impressive results (All A*, A or B).  But the results we are almost pleased with are his 2 B’S in GCSE Mathematics and Numeracy.  The maximum grades he could get were 2 Bs in Maths.  He really struggled with Maths due to patchy teaching at an early age in school and a lack of confidence.  There was a lack of Maths foundation, to build upon in high school.  Our son has had a Maths tutor since he was 6 years old.

We have used Cardiff & Vale for approximately 7 ½ years and during this time, Cardiff & Vale have always sought to match the most appropriate tutor to our son, for what he required at each step of the journey.  Will has had 3 different tutors for Maths during our time with Cardiff & Vale and each one has been amazing, even our online Maths tutor during the Covid 2 years.

My advice to any parents looking for a tutor is to consider Cardiff & Vale and make sure they do not leave it too late to find one.
